We are proud to announce a significant update to our Factory Mutual (FM) Approval for faced metal building insulation (MBI) produced at our Pennsylvania facility. As of this latest approval, our insulation now carries no height restriction under FM Class 4880 — a major milestone in performance validation and design flexibility.

Previously limited to installations up to 30 feet, our faced MBI has successfully passed rigorous additional testing, lifting this constraint entirely. This achievement is the result of a collaborative effort between Hal Robinson of Lamtec and Carl Lewis of Bay Insulation Systems, whose commitment to quality and innovation helped push this advancement forward.

Importantly, Bay Insulation Systems is currently the only supplier of faced metal building insulation to hold this FM approval without a height restriction — setting a new benchmark in the industry.
